Excellence in Emergency Management Award

The mission of AESA is to promote the development of collaboration and is proactive in emergency management activities, focused on establishing partnerships and training opportunities that support the safety, security and preservation of life and property.

The Excellence in Emergency Management Award has been established to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the emergency management field. Nominees will have shown dedication to the pursuit of excellence in emergency management and whose actions have significantly improved emergency management in their company, community, or the State of Arizona.

• Nominees must be Arizona residents; however, they are not required to be AESA members.
• Those placing nominations must provide a rationale for nominating each individual in no more than 700 words, and are encouraged to provide information on each nominee in the form of a letter of nomination.
• The nomination form, letter of nomination, and supporting documents are limited in length to no more than three pages.
• The Arizona Emergency Services Association reserves the right to revoke the receipt of an Excellence in Emergency Management Award at any time.

• Nominations will be accepted through May 30, 2009.

• Entries are received in confidence and become the property of the Arizona Emergency Services Association and will not be returned.
• 2008 Award Winners will be announced during the AESA 35th Annual Conference June 10-11, 2008. Recipients will be notified prior to public announcement.
